Training and Experience. In addition to the experience, skills and knowledge requirements specified for pay point 5 (as defined), not more than one further year of practical experience as defined in the provision of nursing care and/or services:

Signing of the agreement signifies the guidelines have been read and understood. Responsibilities Site Supervisor will: » act as a liaison to the Department of Counseling and Student Higher Education. All contact regarding the Supervisee will be addressed to the EIU Faculty Supervisor unless otherwise noted; » arrange for a Supervisee orientation program and training for the purpose of familiarizing the Supervisee with the site’s philosophy, policies and procedures. This includes case record management, confidentiality policy, adequate disclosure and crisis management procedures; » provide the Supervisee access to opportunities for educational experiences including: » group and individual counseling » consultation with teachers, staff, agencies, parents/legal guardians » assistance with appropriate interpretation of testing materials » access to case management meetings » assistance with guidance program development and implementation; » provide feedback to Supervisees regarding legal and ethical guidelines governing each student; » provide timely feedback to EIU Faculty Supervisor regarding concerns with Supervisee’s performance.
Training and Experience. Training in the maintenance of a radio system and radios that are the same or significantly similar to the one used by Portland/South Portland. A minimum of 5 years experience in the maintenance and programming of radios that are the same or significantly similar to the ones used in Portland/South Portland. Experience working with a Vocal alarm system that is the same or significantly similar to the Zetron system used by Portland Regional Communications. IMSA Fire Alarm Certification – Municipal Level I&II and Interior Level I, are desirable. Necessary Special Requirements Valid State of Maine Class “C” driver’s license Electricians Helper’s License (within 30 days for new hires).

Rights Site Supervisor has the right to: » be made aware of the Practicum requirements; » expect the Supervisee’s regular and punctual attendance for counseling services, supervision and other site-related activities; » evaluate the Supervisee’s performance, based on the stated criteria in the Practicum syllabus and the Clinical Mental Health Counseling Practicum/Supervised Clinical Experience (Internship) Manual; » expect Supervisees to follow directives when they are given; » determine the assignment or reassignment of cases, based on the interface of the Supervisee’s skill level, professional development and the presenting issue; » consult with the EIU Faculty Supervisor on issues relevant to the Supervisee.
Training and Experience. Any combination of training and experience which would likely provide the required knowledge and abilities is qualifying. A typical way to obtain this knowledge and ability would be:

Training and Experience. A. All training and experience must be properly certified and a record of the same must be on file in the office of the Local Superintendent. Each teacher must file a complete and current transcript of credits with the Local Superintendent. This certification of training becomes a part of the teacher’s permanent file. No salary will be adjusted for any training not properly approved or which has not been obtained prior to the beginning of the school term. Deadline for submitting verification of additional training is September 15. The Bachelor’s (150) column requires that 150 semester hours of college work be completed upon receipt of Bachelor’s Degree. Employees holding a Bachelor’s degree with fewer than 150 semester hours will be moved to BS 150 once they have attained 150 hours in the teaching field as evidenced by the state teaching certificate or in the field of education. The semester hours to be considered must be from an accredited institution. This provision is not retroactive and shall become effective with the 2000- 2001 contract year.
