Ingevolge Artikel 29 van die WBDV, moet die volgende gegewens op skrif aan elke werknemer voorsien word: • Volle naam en adres van werkgewer; • Xxxx en beroep van werknemer en werksomskrywing; • Plek van dienslewering; • Datum waarop werknemer begin; • Normale werksure en werksdae; • Salaris; • Tarief vir berekening van oortyd ; • Enige ander kontantvoordeel waarop werknemer geregtig mag wees; • Enige ander byvoordele waarop die werknemer geregtig is; | The contract of employment or agreement, read with the Basic Conditions of Employment Act (BCEA), is the main source of employment conditions in the private sector. In terms of Section 29 of the BCEA the following information must be provided in writing to each employee: • Full name and address of employer; • Name and occupation of employee and job description; • Place of work; • Date on which employment commence; • Ordinary hours and days of work; • Salary; • Rate of payment for overtime; • Any other cash payments that the employee is entitled to; • Any other payment in kind that the • employee is entitled to; |

Artikel 42 WBV By beëindiging van diens moet u aandring op ‘n dienssertifikaat vanaf die werkgewer. By hertoetreding moet u dit weer by die werkgewer indien. Dienssertifikate moet: • Op die briefhoof van die skool/ instansie wees. • Periode van diens spesifiseer: dag, maand, jaar - dag, maand, jaar bv 1999-01-01 tot 2010-12-31. • Dui grade/leerareas/vakke aandui. • Skoolstempel en handtekening van die Voorsitter van die BL en Skoolhoof moet ook op die brief verskyn. | Section 42 BCE Ask for a Certificate of service to be issued by the employer whenever service is terminated. At re-appointment submit your certificate of service. Certificates of service should: • Be on letterhead of the school. • Specify period of service: day, month, year - day, month, year e.g. 1999-01-01 to 2010- 12-31. • Indicate Grade/learning area/subjects. • The school stamp and the signatures of the Chairperson of the SGB and the Principal must be on the letter. |
