00 - COMPENSATION AND METHOD OF PAYMENT. 7.01 COMPENSATION AND METHOD OF PAYMENT For the professional services performed by the CONTRACTOR, pursuant to this agreement, the CITY hereby agrees to pay the CONTRACTOR in accordance with the provisions set forth by the State of Florida’s Prompt Payment Act (Florida Statutes Section 218.70) and the schedule and provisions as set forth in Exhibit A. The CONTRACTOR shall only be allowed to make one payment draw per month, all draws must be signed off on by the City’s Representative and presented to the Accounts Payable Department.
