  • Blasting Blasting shall be permitted only for road construction purposes unless advance permission is obtained from Forest Service. Whenever the Industrial Fire Precaution Level is II or greater, a fire security person equipped with a long handled round point No. 0 or larger shovel and a 5 gallon backpack pump can filled with water, will stay at location of blast for 1 hour after blasting is done. Blasting may be suspended by Forest Service, in areas of high rate of spread and resistance to control. Fuses shall not be used for blasting. Explosive cords shall not be used without permission of Forest Service, which may specify conditions under which such explosives may be used and precautions to be taken.

  • Interference Lessee shall use the Facility in a manner which shall not cause interference with the use or occupancy of the other portions of the Building by Lessor or others in any way. Lessee's use hereunder will be done in such a manner so as not to interfere with or impose any additional expense upon Lessor in maintaining the Building.

  • COUNTERFEIT WORK (a) The following definitions apply to this clause:

  • Curation A. Curation for those archaeological collections generated as a result of the studies completed for this Undertaking or as a result of data recovery activities will be undertaken in accordance with the terms of 36 CFR part 79 and the stipulations listed in parts B through D of this Stipulation.

  • Collapse a. With respect to this Additional Coverage:

  • Reconstruction In the event the Premises are damaged by fire or other perils covered by extended coverage insurance, Landlord agrees to forthwith repair same, and this Lease shall remain in full force and effect, except that Tenant shall be entitled to a proportionate reduction of the Rent from the date of damage while such repairs are being made, such proportionate reduction to be based upon the extent to which the damage and making of such repairs shall reasonably interfere with the business carried on by the Tenant in the Premises. If the damage is due to the fault or neglect of Tenant or its employees, there shall be no abatement of Rent. In the event the Premises are damaged as a result of any cause other than the perils covered by fire and extended coverage insurance, then Landlord shall forthwith repair the same, provided the extent of the destruction be less than fifty percent (50%) of the then full replacement cost of the Premises. In the event the destruction of the Premises is to fifty percent (50%) or more of the full replacement cost, then Landlord shall have the option; (1) to repair or restore such damage, this Lease continuing in full force and effect, but the Rent to be proportionately reduced as herein above in this Section provided; or (2) give notice to Tenant at any time within sixty (60) days after such damage, terminating this Lease as of the date specified in such notice, which date shall be no more than thirty (30) days after the giving of such notice. In the event of giving such notice, this Lease shall expire and all interest of the Tenant in the Premises shall terminate on the date so specified in such notice and the Rent, reduced by a proportionate reduction, based upon the extent, if any, to which such damage interfered with the business carried on by the Tenant in the Premises, shall be paid up to date of said such termination. Notwithstanding anything to the contrary contained in this Section, Landlord shall not have any obligation whatsoever to repair, reconstruct or restore the Premises when the damage resulting from any casualty covered under this Section occurs during the last six (6) months of the Term of this Lease or any extension thereof.

  • CURVE WIDENING The minimum widening placed on the inside of curves is:  6 feet for curves of 50 to 79 feet radius.  4 feet for curves of 80 to 100 feet radius.

  • Contamination The presence in, on or under land, air or water of a substance (whether a solid, liquid, gas, odour, heat, sound, vibration or radiation) at a concentration above the concentration at which the substance is normally present in, on or under land, air or water in the same locality, that presents a risk of Environmental Harm, including harm to human health or any other aspect of the Environment, or could otherwise give rise to a risk of non-compliance with any Statutory Requirement for the protection of the Environment.

  • MOLD AND MILDEW Resident acknowledges that it is necessary for Resident to provide appropriate climate control, keep the Apartment clean, and take other measures to retard and prevent mold and mildew from accumulating in the Apartment. Resident agrees to clean and dust the Apartment on a regular basis and to remove visible moisture accumulation on windows, walls and other surfaces as soon as reasonably possible. Resident further agrees not to block or cover any of the heating, ventilation or air-conditioning ducts in the Unit. Resident agrees to immediately report to the management office: (i) any evidence of a water leak or excessive moisture in the Apartment, as well as in any storage room, garage or other common area; (ii) any evidence of mold- or mildew-like growth that cannot be removed by simply applying a common household cleaner and wiping the area; (iii) any failure or malfunction in the heating, ventilation, air conditioning systems or laundry systems in the Apartment; and (iv) any inoperable doors or windows. Resident further agrees that Resident shall be responsible for damage to the Premises and Resident’s property as well as injury to Resident, Authorized Occupants, Resident’s family member(s), and guests resulting from Resident’s failure to comply with the terms of this Section.

  • Substitute Teaching An adjunct faculty member who is interested in a substitute teaching assignment may be assigned to teach as a substitute in a course section for which the adjunct faculty member is qualified to teach. Each semester an adjunct faculty member may submit to the appropriate Xxxx a written request, on a form provided by the College, which shall indicate his/her willingness and availability to act as a substitute teacher and a reliable means by which to contact the adjunct faculty member on short notice. An adjunct faculty member who is selected to substitute teach shall be paid in accordance with Article 8.4.
