4850 Pay Beyond One Year. If an injured employee remains eligible for Worker’s Compensation temporary disability benefits beyond one year, full salary will continue by integrating sick leave and/or vacation accruals with Worker’s Compensation benefits (use of vacation accruals must be approved by the department and the employee). If salary integration is no longer available because accruals are exhausted, Worker’s Compensation benefits will be paid directly to the employee as prescribed by Workers Compensation laws.
