Maximum Vacation Accrual. Employees may accrue vacation up to a maximum of two hundred forty (240) hours. An employee who has reached the maximum accrual level may continue to accrue vacation until his or her next anniversary date, at which time any vacation accrued in addition to the two hundred forty (240) hour maximum accrual will be extinguished. With the written approval of the appropriate Vice President, an employee may accrue more than two hundred forty (240) hours of vacation when he or she is precluded from taking a previously scheduled vacation because of University needs. Any such written approval will specify a timeline for the employee to use any excess vacation accrual, after which any excess vacation accrual will be extinguished.
Maximum Vacation Accrual. Vacation leave credits may be accumulated to a maximum of two hundred forty (240) hundred forty (240) hours. Leave voluntarily accumulated over two hundred forty (240) hours will be used by the employee’s leave anniversary date at a time convenient to the department. If leave over two hundred forty (240) hours is not used prior to the employee’s leave anniversary date, such leave will be automatically lost and considered to have never existed.
Maximum Vacation Accrual. An employee will not accrue more than one and one-half (1 ½) years of vacation accrual at any given time.
Maximum Vacation Accrual. The maximum vacation accrual balance shall be 500 hours. Once the employee has a vacation accrual balance of 500 hours, no additional vacation hours will be accrued until the balance drops below 500 hours.
Maximum Vacation Accrual. (a) Vacation credits may be accumulated up to a maximum of two (2) years' earnings as of the end of the first payroll period in January. Any credits in excess of that amount will be forfeited at that time. Credits accrued after that date shall not be reviewed until the following January. The scheduled usage of vacation time shall conform to manpower requirements established by the bureau. If a forfeiture of credits is the result of the City's canceling an approved vacation in the latter part of the calendar year or the result of an extended industrial injury, then the Commissioner in charge shall allow the restoration of forfeited credits.
(b) Whenever an employee is laid off or terminated, the accrued vacation time shall be paid to the employee in a lump sum.
Maximum Vacation Accrual. As of June 30th of each year, employees with over 240 hours of accrued vacation will be paid for all hours over 240 unless an employee elects to contribute an equivalent cash amount to their 457 Plan. Subject to approval by the General Manager, employees may exceed the annual 240 hour cap if excess vacation is scheduled to be taken no later than December 31st of that year.
Maximum Vacation Accrual. The Department agrees to schedule vacations to prevent loss of accrued and accruing vacation provided that the individual employee gives sixty (60) calendar days advance written notice to the Division Commander that he/she is approaching his/her maximum accrual.
Maximum Vacation Accrual. Accumulation of vacation hours is limited to a maximum of the employee’s annual accrual level, plus five (5) days. At the end of any given month, each employee will forfeit any hours exceeding the maximum allowed. In unusual circumstances, such forfeiture may be waived by the Town Manager provided that a written request is submitted to the Library Director no later than forty-five (45) days after the date that hours over the maximum would have been accrued.
Maximum Vacation Accrual. Each full-time employee shall be entitled to accumulate and carry over into the following year a maximum of 400 hours. Any accumulated vacation time in excess of the 400 hours on January 1st shall be forfeited. Employees are eligible to cash out up to 80 hours of vacation leave each calendar year at any time with notice prior to payroll cutoff. Employees must maintain at least 80 hours of vacation leave in their accruals to receive any cash out.
Maximum Vacation Accrual. The maximum vacation accrual shall be two (2) times the employee’s vacation accrual. (For example, an employee who accrues 10-days per year will have an accrual cap of 20 days.) Once the employee reaches his/her maximum accrual, he/she shall not accrue additional vacation until the vacation balance is reduced.
