Common use of A/E’s General Assistance During Construction and One-Year Guaranty Period Clause in Contracts

A/E’s General Assistance During Construction and One-Year Guaranty Period. A/E shall advise and assist DFCM (1) during the Construction Phase, and (2) during period of the Contractor's guaranty obligations under the Contract Documents. During the One-Year Guaranty Period, the A/E shall make a qualified representative available to answer questions and to perform a 1-year guaranty walk through. A/E shall have authority to act on behalf of DFCM only to the extent provided in this Agreement unless otherwise modified in writing by DFCM and A/E. The A/E shall be liable for any representations made by the A/E or anyone for whose acts the A/E may be liable, not consistent with the provisions of the Contract Documents, unless DFCM has given written approval in advance.
