Common use of A Long Term Occasional Clause in Contracts

A Long Term Occasional. Teacher whose assignment extends over a period which includes a Professional Activity Day shall be paid for such day provided that the Occasional Teacher participated in the scheduled professional activities.

A Long Term Occasional. Teacher whose assignment extends over a period which includes a Professional Activity Day who is scheduled to work shall be paid for such a professional activity day provided that the Long Term Occasional Teacher participated participates in the scheduled professional activities. A Professional Activity Day shall not interrupt the Long Term Occasional Teacher’s assignments.

A Long Term Occasional. Teacher whose assignment extends over a period which includes a Professional Activity Day who is scheduled to work shall be paid for such day a professional activity day, proportionate to their LTO FTE, provided that the Long Term Occasional Teacher participated participates in the scheduled professional activities. Teacher who is employed in the same assignment for more than ten (10) consecutive instructional days and whose assignment extends over a period which includes a Professional Activity Day shall be paid for such day provided that the Occasional Teacher participated in the scheduled professional activities.
