Common use of AATI Improvements Clause in Contracts

AATI Improvements. All Improvements to AATI Discrete Technology that are created or conceived solely by AATI shall be solely owned by AATI (the “AATI Improvements”). AATI shall own all right, title, and interest in the AATI Improvements and all Intellectual Property therein (excluding MagnaChip’ rights in and ownership of any Joint Improvement under Section 4.3(c) below), AATI shall have the exclusive right to apply for or register any patents, mask work rights, copyrights, and such other proprietary protections with respect thereto. Nothing herein shall be construed as granting MAGNACHIP any ownership rights in the AATI Intellectual Property and AATI Discrete Technology. AATI grants no rights, license or title to such technology and/or Intellectual Property outside the scope of this Agreement.
