Common use of ABANDONMENT OF PERSONAL PROPERTY Clause in Contracts

ABANDONMENT OF PERSONAL PROPERTY. Upon the expiration of the Term or earlier termination of this Lease, Tenant shall forthwith remove Tenant’s goods and effects and those of any other persons claiming through or under Tenant, or subtenancies assigned to it, and quit and deliver the Premises to the Landlord peaceably and quietly. Goods and effects not removed by Tenant after termination of this Lease (or within forty-eight (48) hours after a termination by reason of Tenant’s default) shall be considered abandoned. Landlord shall give Tenant notice of right to reclaim abandoned property pursuant to applicable local law and may thereafter dispose of the same as Landlord deems expedient, including public or private sale and/or storage in a public warehouse or elsewhere at the sole cost, and for the account, of Tenant, and Tenant shall promptly upon demand reimburse Landlord for any expenses incurred by Landlord in connection therewith, including reasonable attorneys’ fees.
