Ability to Deny Overtime Assignment. The supervisor responsible for assigning overtime may deny a request by an employee to work voluntary or mandatory overtime, under the following circumstances: 1. The employee does not have the current qualifications or certifications to carry out the duties of the position requiring the overtime; or 2. For reasons that, if allowed, a violation of this Agreement would occur.
