Abolishing Positions. When two or more positions are abolished on the same day, the employees affected will be given preference in exercising displacement rights in the order of their seniority ranking.
Abolishing Positions. Subsection 1 Whenever a position is being abolished, the District will notify CSEA in writing, including the rationale for abolition, for CSEA review and comment. Within twenty-one (21) calendar days, CSEA will forward its written comments to the Director of Human Resources for consideration in the decision to abolish the position. CSEA’s written comments will be forwarded to the Board of Education before the Board abolishes the position.
