Absence - Employee Responsible for Reporting. In case it is necessary for an employee to be absent from duty, the employee shall enter their absence in AESOP as soon as the necessity for absence has been determined or as soon thereafter as feasible so that a substitute may be called. Absence for reasons other than illness shall be approved in advance by their immediate supervisor, except in emergencies.
