Absences from Preparatory Rehearsals. ‌ (a) A Chorister who must be absent from a preparatory rehearsal shall notify the Chorus Manager in advance of the rehearsal. If a Chorister’s absence is caused by illness, emergency, or other unanticipated event, he will notify the Chorus Manager as soon as possible. (b) A Professional Member who is absent from more preparatory rehearsals than the allowed number set forth in 20.4 (“allowed absences”), must attend a performance check to qualify to sing in the performance. (c) A Professional Member may attend one preparatory rehearsal in the “sick bay” without incurring an absence. (d) Professional Members absent from more than fifty percent (50%) of the preparatory rehearsals scheduled for a work shall not sing the ensuing performances. (e) If there is only one (1) preparatory rehearsal for a work, it will be paid and indicated as Mandatory. The number of allowed absences from preparatory rehearsals for Professional Members shall be:‌ Number of Scheduled Rehearsals Allowed absences (f) A Chorister who has sung a particular work with the Xxxxxxx Xxxxxxxx Xxxxxx in the previous five (5) seasons shall be entitled to miss any scheduled rehearsals specifically designated as catch-up rehearsals (rehearsals for Chorus Members who have not performed the work with the Xxxxxxx Xxxxxxxx Xxxxxx in the last five (5) seasons) in addition to his or her allowed absences from preparatory rehearsals as permitted under section (a) above.‌ (g) If a Chorister is absent from a rehearsal that covers more than one concert, the absence will be counted as one-half of an absence for each work covered at the rehearsal.

  • Notices Any notice, request or other document required or permitted to be given or delivered to the Holder by the Company shall be delivered in accordance with the notice provisions of the Purchase Agreement.

  • Force Majeure If by reason of Force Majeure, either party hereto shall be rendered unable wholly or in part to carry out its obligations under this Agreement through no fault of its own then such party shall give notice and full particulars of Force Majeure in writing to the other party within a reasonable time after occurrence of the event or cause relied upon. Upon delivering such notice, the obligation of the affected party, so far as it is affected by such Force Majeure as described, shall be suspended during the continuance of the inability then claimed but for no longer period, and such party shall endeavor to remove or overcome such inability with all reasonable dispatch.   • Termination In the event that either Party seeks to terminate this DPA, they may do so by mutual written consent so long as the Service Agreement has lapsed or has been terminated. Either party may terminate this DPA and any service agreement or contract if the other party breaches any terms of this DPA.
