Academic Department Governance. A. Each academic department is encouraged to maintain or develop a Departmental governance document that defines the decision making process within the department on matters of curriculum and academic policy. This document should be periodically reviewed by the faculty in the department and is not grievable. Departmental governance documents may not contradict the provisions of this Agreement. Departmental governance documents shall not address issues that impact provisions of this Agreement and/or wages, hours or other terms and conditions of employment.
