Common use of Academic Responsibility Clause in Contracts

Academic Responsibility. The parties seek to educate young people in the democratic tradition, to ▇▇▇▇▇▇ a recognition of individual freedom and social responsibility, to inspire meaningful awareness of and respect for the Constitution and Bill of Rights, and to instill appreciation of the values of individual personality. It is recognized that these democratic values can best be transmitted in an atmosphere which is free from unreasonable restraints upon free inquiry and learning. The School Board shall maintain the right and responsibility to establish rules and regulations which are educationally appropriate for the implementation of the above, in accordance with the needs of the community and the School System.
