Acceptable Uses. The District is providing access to its school computer systems, computer networks, and the Internet for educational purposes only. The board expects that staff will blend thoughtful use of such information throughout the curriculum and that the staff will provide guidance and instruction to students in the appropriate use of such resources. If you have any doubt about whether a contemplated activity is educational, you may consult with the person(s) designated by the school to help you decide. Accordingly, regulations for participation by anyone on the Internet shall include, but not be limited to, the following:

Acceptable Uses. 5.1. Customer shall at all times adhere to the AUP contained herein at Appendix 1, as amended from time to time by ND(J)L effective upon posting of the revised policy. Notwithstanding anything to the contrary contained herein, ND(J)L may immediately take corrective action, including disconnection or discontinuance of any and all Services, or terminate this Agreement in the event of notice of possible violation by Customer of the AUP. In the event ND(J)L takes corrective action due to a violation of the AUP, ND(J)L shall not refund to Customer any fees paid in advance of such corrective action.
Acceptable Uses a. An Authorized Licensee User runs and uses the Model through the AnyLogic Software (i.e. on a computer where the AnyLogic Software is installed) manually, not via any kind of remote interface. This is an acceptable use regardless whether the Model was developed using the same installation of the AnyLogic Software or not, by the same Authorized Licensee User or not, or by the same Licensee or not. In this case, the Authorized Licensee User is also the End User. b. An Authorized Licensee User exports the Model by function “Export to standalone Java application” of the AnyLogic Software and provides the exported Model to another employee of the same Licensee (“Colleague”) for his or her use. In this case, the Colleague is the End User. c. An Authorized Licensee User exports the Model by function “Export to standalone Java application” of the AnyLogic Software and provides it to a person or entity other than the Licensee, such as a client of the Licensee (“Client”), provided that the Model is tailored for this particular Client and not provided to multiple parties. In this case, the Client is the End User. d. An End User provides the Model to another employee of the same division, business unit or group that the End User belongs to. In this case, the second employee becomes an End User. e. An Authorized Licensee User exports the Model by function “Export to AnyLogic Cloud” of the AnyLogic Software and uses the model through the AnyLogic Cloud or AnyLogic Private Cloud. In this case, the Authorized Licensee User is also the End User. f. An Authorized Licensee User exports the Model by function “Export to AnyLogic Cloud” of the AnyLogic Software and provides it to any person or entity other than the Licensee, such as a client of the Licensee (“Client”), through the AnyLogic Cloud or AnyLogic Private Cloud. In this case, the Client is the End User.
Acceptable Uses. Marengo Community High School District 154 authorized users may use the various resources provided by the Marengo Community High School District 154 Network to pursue educationally-related activities. Teachers and other staff are to help guide students in their use of the Marengo Community High School District 154 Network, equipment and resources so that students will learn how network resources can provide valuable educational information. Students should: 2.1 Respect the aims of the College's Device program • Bring a charged device to school every day. • Use ICT equipment and resources for educational purposes only, under supervision. • Leave the charger at home in a safe place. • Ensure that the device is kept secure when moving between classes and to and from school. 2.2 Respect others • Follow the same standards of behaviour online as you are expected to follow in real life. • Observe copyright rules by respecting the information, ideas and artistic works of others. • Acknowledge the author or publisher of information from the Internet, and do not claim thework as your own. • Use the device in a responsible manner and comply with the "lids closed" requests from teachers. 2.3 Keep safe online • Keep passwords, personal details and work securely. • Always get teacher permission before publishing any personal information, photos or video online 2.4 When using devices in the Information Centre • Follow the "acceptable use procedures" as outlined in sections 2.1 to 2.3 • Follow instructions from staff when asked to close or remove applications. • Follow instructions from staff as to appropriate use of the device. • Show respect for others using the Information Centre by working quietly, using headphones or turning off the sound.
Acceptable Uses. Activities that are part of the support infrastructure needed for instruction, scholarship and institutional management of the participant institutions. • Instructional applications engaged in by students, faculty and staff. • Communication and exchange for professional development, to maintain currency, or to debate issues in a field or sub-field of knowledge. • Subject matters/discipline associations, government-advisory, or standard activities related to the user's research, instructional and/or administrative activities. • Applying for or administering grants or contracts for instruction, professional infrastructure upgrades and student support services. • Announcements of new products or services used in instruction and institutional research. • Access to information resources, computers, and people throughout the world. • Interaction with students, faculty, and staff by electronic mail and other means of electronic communication. • Access to libraries, information resources, databases, and news from commercial, and non-commercial sources. • Importation of licensed software or other copyrighted material for fair use or with appropriate permission. • Administrative, academic, and research-related discussion groups. • E-commerce activities in support of the administrative and academic programs of participant institutions.

Acceptable Uses. The technology resources are to be used for the limited purpose of advancing the District's mission. The technology resources are to be used, in general, for educational purposes, meaning activities that are integral, immediate, and proximate to the education of students as defined in the E-rate program regulations.

The user in whose name an online service account is issued is responsible for its proper use at all times. Users shall keep personal account numbers andpasswords private. They shall use this system only under the account issued by the District. Students should note that all electronic communications are not guaranteed to be private. TPS has the ability to view all electronic communications sent or received through the network. Messages relating to or in support of illegal activities will be reported to the authorities. Network and Internet access is provided as a tool for your education. TPS reserves the right to monitor, inspect, copy, review and store at any time and without prior notice any and all usage of the computer network and Internet access and any and allinformation transmitted or received in connection with such usage. All such information files shall be and remain the property of the District and no user shall have any expectation of privacy regarding such materials.
