Common use of Acceptance of Road Construction Clause in Contracts

Acceptance of Road Construction. (a) Whenever Purchaser shall deliver to the Contracting Officer a written statement that the road construction is complete, pursuant to the contract terms, the Authorized Officer shall promptly inspect such road. If the contract road construction requirements have been completed to the satisfaction of the Contracting Officer, Purchaser will be given written notice of acceptance, and, except as provided in Sec. 12, be released from further liability or duty for construction or reconstruction of such road.
