ACCESS CABLECASTING. (a) The PEG Access Downstream Channels shall be used to transmit PEG Access Programming to Subscribers, at no charge to the Issuing Authority, its designee, the Access Corporation or any User, and shall be subject to the control and management of the Issuing Authority and/or its designee.
(b) The Licensee shall provide Upstream Channel capacity for PEG Access Programming over the I-Net from the Access Corporation Studio, Town Hall, Police Station, Fire Station, Highway Department, Senior Center, Public Library, all Norfolk Public Schools, Xxxx Xxxxxx Regional Schools and such other buildings as the Town may reasonably request during the term hereof ("Upstream Sites"). The Licensee shall provide and maintain all necessary processing equipment in order to switch Upstream Signals from the Access Corporation to the designated Downstream Access Channel.
(c) In order that PEG Access Programming can be cablecast over the PEG Access Subscriber Network Downstream Channels, pursuant to this Article 6, all PEG Access Programming transmitted from all remote origination locations shall be modulated by Access Corporation-owned equipment at all remote origination locations. The Access Corporation shall then transmit said Programming from any location within the Town having Origination Capability on an I-Net Upstream Channel as provided in Section 3.2(a), to the Headend, Hub Site and/or other location at the discretion of the Licensee. At the Headend or Hub Site and/or other location, Licensee shall retransmit said PEG Access Programming on a PEG Access Subscriber Network Downstream Channel.
(d) Licensee shall provide and maintain all necessary switching and/or processing equipment, at the Headend, Hub Site and/or other location at the discretion of the Licensee, in order to retransmit an Upstream Signal from the I-Net to the designated PEG Access Subscriber Network Downstream Channel.
(e) Licensee shall use its commercially reasonable best efforts to facilitate the transmission, switching and processing of the Access Corporation's live coverage of any Norfolk Town meetings held at Xxxx Xxxxxx Regional High School in Wrentham. Should the location of the public meetings be changed to another location not accessible via the Town's I-Net, but which changed location is accessible by means of the town of Wrentham's I-Net, the Licensee and the Issuing Authority shall cooperate in providing alternate arrangements.
(f) The Licensee shall monitor the PEG Access Subscriber Network ...
ACCESS CABLECASTING. (a) In order that PEG Access Programming can be cablecast over the PEG Access Downstream Channels, all PEG Access Programming shall be modulated, then transmitted from any location, identified in Exhibit 1, to the Headend or Hub, on one of the Upstream Channel(s) made available, without charge, to the Town for its use. At the Headend, said Access Programming shall be retransmitted in the downstream direction on one of the PEG Access Downstream Channel(s).
(b) It shall be the Licensee's sole responsibility to ensure that said PEG Access Programming is properly switched, either manually or electronically, to the appropriate PEG Access Downstream Channel, in an efficient and timely manner. The Licensee shall not charge the Town for such switching responsibility. The Licensee and the Issuing Authority shall negotiate in good faith any difficulties that arise regarding cablecasting of PEG Access Programming.
(c) The Licensee shall provide and maintain all necessary switching and/or processing equipment in order to switch Upstream Signals from the Town to the designated Downstream Access Channel.
ACCESS CABLECASTING. (a) In order that the Access Corporation can cablecast its Programming over the PEG Access downstream channels, all PEG Programming shall be modulated, then transmitted from any location with origination capability to the Cable System headend, on two (2) or more of the I-Net upstream channels made available, without charge, to the Town and the Access Corporation for their use. The Access Corporation shall be responsible for the costs of the equipment associated with said modulation and transmission over and above the equipment provided pursuant to Exhibit D attached hereto and made a part hereof.
(b) The Licensee shall provide the Access Corporation with the capability to ensure that said Programming is properly switched, either manually or electronically, to the appropriate downstream channel, in an efficient and timely manner. At the headend, said Access Programming shall be retransmitted in the downstream direction on two (2) or more downstream PEG Access Channels. The Licensee shall not charge the Access Corporation for such switching responsibility. The Licensee and the Issuing Authority shall negotiate in good faith any difficulties that arise regarding cablecasting of PEG Access Programming.
(c) The Licensee shall provide and maintain all necessary processing equipment in order to switch upstream Signals from the Access Corporation to the designated downstream Access Channels. Nothing herein shall require the Licensee to provide end-User equipment.
ACCESS CABLECASTING. (a) In order that the Town can cablecast its Programming over the Town Channel, all PEG programming shall be modulated, then transmitted from any location with Origination Capability, as listed in Section 6.3(b) herein, to the Cable System Headend or Hub, on a return path made available to the Town for its use.
(b) The Licensee shall provide the Town with the capability to ensure that PEG Access Programming is sent on a return path to the Headend, where such PEG Access Programming will be properly switched, either manually or electronically, to the appropriate Downstream Channel, in an efficient and timely manner. At the Headend or the Hub, said PEG Access Programming shall be retransmitted in the downstream direction on one of the Downstream PEG Access Channels. The Licensee shall not charge the Town and/or the Subscribers for such switching responsibility. The Licensee and the Issuing Authority shall negotiate in good faith any difficulties that arise regarding cablecasting of PEG Access Programming.
(c) The Licensee shall provide and maintain all necessary processing equipment in order to switch return path Signals originated by the Town to the designated Downstream Access Channel. Nothing herein shall require the Licensee to provide end-user equipment.
ACCESS CABLECASTING. (a) In order that the Issuing Authority and/or its designee(s) can cablecast PEG Access Programming over the PEG Access Channels, all PEG Access programming shall be modulated, then transmitted from a location in the Town with Origination Capability to the tfeadend, on one of the Upstream Channels made available, without charge, for such purpose. At the tfeadend, said Access programming shall be retransmitted in the downstream direction on one of the Downstream PEG Access Channels.
(b) The Licensee shall provide Origination Capability to the Town and its designee(s) from the locations listed in Exhibit 6.9 herein. The Licensee shall continue to provide equipment at the tfeadend in order to receive and process upstream Programming and to route such programming through the tfeadend for distribution to the Subscriber Network.
(c) The Licensee shall continue to provide and maintain and/or replace all necessary existing switching equipment at the tfeadend in order to automatically switch Upstream Signals from any remote locations with Origination Capability to the designated Downstream PEG Access Channel. Any manual switching shall be the responsibility of the Issuing Authority or its designee(s).
ACCESS CABLECASTING. In order that the Leicester Cable Access Corporation can cablecast its Programming over its PEG Access Downstream Channels, the PEG Access Programming shall be modulated, then transmitted to the Cable System headend on an Upstream I-Net Channel designated for Town use pursuant to 3.2 above. The Licensee shall continue to provide, at its sole cost and expense, three (3) modulators and three (3) processors in suitable working condition to the Town to ensure that such Programming can be transmitted as required herein. In the event the Town and Licensee reasonably determine that such modulators and processors are unsuitable and must be replaced during the license term, Charter will not pass through such costs to subscribers as an External Cost.
ACCESS CABLECASTING. (a) In order that the Access Corporation can cablecast its Programming over the PEG Access Downstream Channels, all PEG Programming shall be modulated, then transmitted from any location, identified in Section 7.7 supra, with Origination Capability to the Licensee’s Headend, on one of the Upstream Channel(s) made available, without charge, to the Town and the Access Corporation for their use. At the Headend, such Programming shall be processed and transmitted downstream on the designated PEG Access Channel.
(b) The Licensee shall provide the Access Corporation with the capability to ensure that said Programming is properly switched, either manually or electronically, to the appropriate Downstream Channel, in an efficient and timely manner. At the Headend, said Access Programming shall be retransmitted in the downstream direction on one of the two (2) Downstream PEG Access Channel(s). The Licensee shall not charge the Access Corporation for such switching responsibility. The Licensee and the Issuing Authority shall negotiate in good faith any difficulties that arise regarding cablecasting of PEG Access Programming.
(c) The Licensee shall provide and maintain all necessary processing equipment in order to switch upstream Signals from the Access Corporation to the designated Downstream Access Channel. The demarcation point between the equipment owned, operated and maintained by the Licensee and the equipment owned, operated and maintained by the Issuing Authority or his or her designee(s) shall be the output of the modulator or equivalent device used for video Signal transport. Nothing herein shall require the Licensee to provide end-user equipment.
ACCESS CABLECASTING. In order that PEG Access Programming can be cablecast over the three (3) Downstream Channels pursuant to Section 6.5 supra, all PEG Access Programming shall be modulated, then transmitted from any location with Origination Capability to the Headend, on one of the Subscriber Network Upstream Channels, or via the I-Net. At the Headend, said PEG Access Programming shall be retransmitted in the Downstream direction on one of the three (3) Downstream PEG Access Channels; provided, however, that the Licensee shall not be required to purchase additional modulators; and provided, further, that existing modulators shall be maintained and/or replaced as necessary by the Licensee.

(a) In order that PEG Access Programming can be cablecast over the PEG Access Downstream Channels, all PEG Access Programming shall be modulated, then transmitted from any location, identified in Section 6.4(c) above, to the Headend or Hub, on one of the I-Net Upstream Channels made available, without charge, to the Town for its use. At the Headend, said Access Programming shall be retransmitted in the downstream direction on one of the PEG Access Downstream Channels.
(b) It shall be the Licensee's sole responsibility to ensure that said PEG Access Programming is properly switched, either manually or electronically, to the appropriate PEG Access Downstream Channel, in an efficient and timely manner. The Licensee shall not charge the Town for such switching responsibility. The Licensee and the Issuing Authority shall negotiate in good faith any difficulties that arise regarding cablecasting of PEG Access Programming.
ACCESS CABLECASTING. (a) In order that the Town and/or the Access Corporation can cablecast its PEG Access Programming over the Subscriber Network PEG Access Downstream Channels, all PEG Access Programming shall be modulated by the Town and/or the Access Corporation, then transmitted from the PEG Access Studio or from any other I-Net location with Origination Capability, as listed in Exhibit 1a and 1b hereto, to the Cable System Headend or Hub, on an Upstream I-Net Channel made available, without charge, to the Town and/or the Access Corporation for their use.
(b) Pursuant to Section 3.2(d) supra, the Licensee shall provide the Town and/or the Access Corporation with the capability to ensure that said PEG Access Programming is properly switched electronically at the Headend or Hub to the appropriate Subscriber Network PEG Access Downstream Channel, in an efficient and timely manner. At the Headend or the Hub, said PEG Access Programming shall be retransmitted in the downstream direction on one of the Subscriber Network PEG Access Downstream Channels. The Licensee shall not charge the Town and/or the Access Corporation for such electronic switching responsibility. The Licensee and the Issuing Authority shall discuss in good faith any difficulties that arise regarding cablecasting of PEG Access Programming.
(c) The Licensee shall ensure that the Access Corporation’s modulated PEG Access Programming Signals are properly balanced and/or adjusted during the term of this Renewal License without costs and/or charge(s) of any kind to the Access Corporation, the Issuing Authority, and/or the Town. The Licensee may only charge Subscribers for such costs in accordance with applicable law(s). The Access Corporation understands that it shall not adjust the setting(s) or calibrate any modulators.
(d) The Licensee shall be responsible for retaining control of, maintaining, upgrading and/or replacing three (3) modulators that are used to modulate PEG Access Programming, currently located at the Access Corporation studio, without costs and/or charge(s) of any kind to the Access Corporation, the Issuing Authority, and/or the Town. The Licensee may only charge Subscribers for such costs in accordance with applicable law(s).
