Community Programming Sample Clauses

Community Programming. Programming produced jointly by community volunteers and employees of the Licensee.
Community Programming. (a) The Licensee shall provide one (1) community channel for non-commercial use by residents of the Town, the educational authorities, organizations serving the Town and local government officials. A second community programming channel shall be made available when the existing channel is used to cablecast first-run, locally produced, non-commercial programming at least eighty percent (80%) of the weekdays (Monday through Friday) for eighty percent (80%) of the time during any consecutive six-hour period for six (6) consecutive weeks. If there is channel space available at the time of the Issuing Authority’s request for a second channel under this Section, the Licensee shall make a channel available as soon as possible. If there is not channel space available, the Licensee shall have six (6) months following a request by the Issuing Authority in which to make such new channel available. (b) The Licensee shall not charge residents of the Town, educational authorities, organizations serving the Town or local or any other regional governmental entities for non-commercial use of the community programming channel(s). (c) Rules shall be established by the Licensee in cooperation with the Issuing Authority or its designee regarding community programming, priority of use of the community programming channel(s), the prohibition of lottery information and obscene or indecent matter (modeled after prohibitions found in other FCC rules and regulations), and permitting public inspection of a complete record of names and addressees of all persons or groups requesting time on the community programming channel(s). (d) The Licensee shall provide the Town, at a minimum, the same type and the same number or hours of public, educational and governmental access programming as provided by the Licensee in towns of similar size to Lancaster in the vicinity.
Community Programming. (a) Within eighteen (18) months from the Effective Date the Licensee shall provide a community channel for use by residents of the Town, the educational authorities and local government officials. (b) The Licensee shall not charge residents of the Town, educational authorities or local government for non-commercial use of the community programming channel(s). (c) Rules shall be established by the Licensee in cooperation with the Issuing Authority regarding community programming, priority of use of the community programming channel(s), the prohibition of lottery information and obscene or indecent matter (modeled after prohibitions found in other FCC rules and regulations), and permitting public inspection of a complete record of names and addressees of all persons or groups requesting time on the community programming channel(s). (d) Within thirty (30) days of activating a community programming channel in accordance with subsection (a) above, Licensee shall provide the Town with the equipment package identified in Exhibit B attached hereto currently valued at Five Thousand Eight Hundred Sixty-nine Dollars ($5,869).
Community Programming. The Grantee currently provides one (1) channel on the Cable System for use by the Grantor for non-commercial, video programming for public, education and government (“PEG”) access programming. The Grantor shall be responsible for managing the current PEG channel. In the event the City does not utilize the channel with locally produced programming 70% of the available broadcast time with distinct and non repetitive programming, Grantor reserves the right to take the channel back for its use. A program may be repeated no more than three times in a given 24 hour period for purposes of the trigger calculation. For purposes of this computation, all time allocated to character generated or similar programming shall be excluded for the determination of when such channel is in use and programmed with public and governmental access programming. Grantee shall provide Grantor with a minimum of thirty (30) days’ notice, and use its best efforts to provide sixty (60) days notice prior to the time the PEG Channel designation is changed or the PEG Channel shall revert back to the Grantee. Grantee shall consult with the Grantor prior to making a final determination regarding any changes in PEG Channel designations, tier placements or reversions back to the Grantee. Any new PEG Channel designation for the PEG Channel provided pursuamt to this agreement shall be in full complaince with FCC signal quality and proof of performance standards. The PEG Channel may be placed on any tier of service available to subscribers. After the the PEG Channel has reverted back to the Grantee, the Grantor may request that the
Community Programming. (a) No later than six (6) months following completion of the upgrade of the Subscriber Network, and subsequent to a formal written request from the Issuing Authority, the Licensee shall provide a community channel for use by residents to the Town, the educational authorities and local government officials. (b) The Licensee shall not charge residents of the Town, educational authorities or local government for non-commercial use of the community programming channel(s). (c) Rules shall be established by the Licensee in cooperation with the Issuing Authority regarding community programming, priority of use of the community programming channels(s), the prohibition of lottery information and obscene or indecent matter (modeled after prohibitions found in other FCC rules and regulations), and permitting public inspection of a complete record of names and addresses of all persons or groups requesting time on the community programming channel(s). (d) Within thirty (30) days of activating a community programming channel in accordance with subsection (a) above, Licensee shall provide the Town with Ten Thousand Dollars ($10,000) to purchase equipment, including but not limited to a modulator and demodulator, video camera, play deck, character generator and other equipment used to program said channel. Said equipment will be owned and maintained by the Town.
Community Programming. (a) The Licensee shall continue to maintain a local community programming channel for the non-exclusive use by residents of the Town of Eastham, the educational authorities and local government officials. (b) Upon completion of the upgrade of the Cable Communications System the Licensee shall provide a separate educational channel for use by the Nauset Regional School District. This educational channel shall only be used for non-commercial purposes. (c) The Licensee shall not charge residents of the Town, educational authorities or local government for non-commercial use of the community programming channel or the Nauset Regional School District channel. (d) Rules shall be established by the Licensee in cooperation with the Issuing Authority regarding community programming, priority of use of the community programming channel(s), the prohibition of lottery information and obscene or indecent matter (modeled after prohibitions found in other FCC rules and regulations), and permitting public inspection of a complete record of names and addressees of all persons or groups requesting time on the community programming channel(s).

Community ProgrammingWhere an event is scheduled in the Stage, the xxxxx assigned to this area will be paid at the Captain Xxxxx rate and will assume supervisory responsibilities. The Corporation agrees to pay part-time employees fifteen cents ($0.15) per hour in lieu of benefits such as medical, dental, pension, life and sick leave.
