Common use of ACCESS TO CONSULTANT'S RECORDS Clause in Contracts

ACCESS TO CONSULTANT'S RECORDS. The Consultant shall maintain all books, documents, papers, accounting records and other evidence pertaining to cost incurred in performing work covered by this contract. The City Engineer shall have access to said documents and evidence for the purpose of inspection, audit and copying during normal business hours. All said documents shall be retained for three years from the date of final payment under the contract.
