Accident/Incident and Suspected Unapproved Parts Investigation Information Requests. (a) When investigating in-service incidents, accidents, or suspected unapproved parts involving a product, part, or appliance imported under these Implementation Procedures, the FAA or EASA may request information from EASA or the FAA product responsible Directorate as applicable (see listing in Appendix A). EASA shall coordinate with the appropriate AA to obtain any necessary support.
