Common use of Accommodated Work Clause in Contracts

Accommodated Work. Should an employee present with medical restrictions or require an accommodation without being off work, and where it has been determined that they are unable to complete the full duties of their position due to disability, illness or injury, the Hospital will notify and meet with the local representative as soon as possible to discuss the circumstances surrounding the employee’s need for suitable work. To this end, the hospital will proactively offer temporary modified duties, within an employee’s abilities, to perform until such time that a RTW Meeting can be arranged.
