Common use of Accounts and Reports; Audits Clause in Contracts

Accounts and Reports; Audits. All funds of the Commission shall be strictly accounted for. The Commission shall establish and maintain such funds and accounts as may be required by good accounting practice. The books and records of the Commission shall be open to inspection at all times by each Member. The Treasurer of the Commission shall cause an annual audit to be made of the books of accounts and financial records of the Commission by a certified public accountant or public accountant. Any costs of the audit, including contracts with, or employment of, certified public accountants or public accountants in making an audit pursuant to this Section 10, shall be borne by the Commission and shall be a charge against any unencumbered funds of the Commission available for that purpose.
