Accrued Leave and Maintenance of benefits and Seniority during Periods of Leave. Employees continue to accrue leave during periods that they use paid leave. Leave shall not accrue when an employee is taking unpaid leave. Employees maintain their seniority during periods of leave. Employees are also entitled to maintain benefits, subject to any of the requirements of the benefit plan(s) to which they subscribe.
