Acquisition of Land. Less than 25 percent of the Net Proceeds of the Bonds actually expended will be used, directly or indirectly, for the acquisition of land or an interest therein. Notwithstanding the immediately preceding sentence, no portion of the Net Proceeds of the Bonds will be used, directly or indirectly, for the acquisition of land or an interest therein to be used for farming purposes.

Acquisition of Land. (1) The Minister may acquire, whether compulsorily or otherwise, any land necessary for— (a) the construction, maintenance, operation and control of the works; or (b) the protection of those works; or (c) preserving or improving the quality or purity of the water to be supplied from those works, or any other land necessary for or relating to or connected with the carrying out by the Commission of its functions or duties or the exercise by the Commission of its powers. (2) The compulsory acquisition of land by the Minister is subject to and must be undertaken in accordance with the Land Acquisition Act 1969.

Acquisition of Land. The Authority and the Company represent that no more than 25% of the Sale Proceeds of the Bonds and the investment earnings thereon will be used, directly or indirectly, to finance the acquisition of land or any interest therein.

Acquisition of Land. (a) The Parties acknowledge that it will be necessary for the Concessionaire to have certain rights over the Project Sites, the Inundated Areas, and the Staging Areas in order to enable the Concessionaire to carry out its obligations under the Project Agreements. (b) In the event that the Grantor does not own any part of the lands that will constitute the Project Sites, the Inundated Areas, or the Staging Areas, then the Grantor shall, at its sole cost and expense, acquire (and/or lease, in the case of the Staging Areas) such lands, or appropriate rights in such lands, by agreement with private landowners or by expropriation in accordance with the Law on Expropriation, and upon the acquisition (and/or lease, in the case of the Staging Areas) of such lands or such rights in such lands by the Grantor, such lands or such rights in such lands shall become subject to the rights of the Concessionaire described in Section 3.8.2.
