ACTING ASSISTANT PROFESSORS. A. Clause 4.3.E above notwithstanding, where appropriate, applicants without a terminal degree may be considered. Section 4.5 applies to positions where a terminal degree will be necessary for transfer to the tenured faculty. In circumstances in which that degree is not necessary for transfer to the tenured faculty, Section 4.5 does not apply.
