ACTING RANK. 18.01 When a Member performs the duty of a higher-ranking Officer/Supervisor in charge of a shift, in any one-contract year, the Member's rate of pay will be at the rate of the higher position. The record of this time will be kept on file with the Chief of Police and the total accumulated time will be paid out on or before the fifteenth (15) day of December each year.

ACTING RANK. 18.01 17.01 When a Member performs the duty of a higher-ranking Officer/Supervisor in charge of a shift, in any one-one contract year, the Member's ’s rate of pay will be at the rate of the higher position. The record of this time these days will be kept on file with the Chief of Police and Police. If the total accumulated Member is in charge of one-half shift or more, the Member shall receive credit for the higher rate for the full shift. If the time will be paid out is less than half a shift, then the Member’s standard rate shall apply for all hours worked on or before the fifteenth (15) day of December each yearthat shift.
