Common use of Acting Vice-Principals Clause in Contracts

Acting Vice-Principals. (a) Where the number of vacancies exceeds the number of names on the Vice- Principal Intern List, Vice-Principal vacancies may be staffed by teachers upon the recommendation of the appropriate Superintendent(s) of Schools. (b) The teacher shall continue to be subject to all terms and conditions of the collective agreement, including dues deduction. (c) Upon completion of the Acting assignment, teachers shall return to their former teaching location, subject to surplus and redundancy provisions.
