Common use of Action to Protect the Government’s Interest Clause in Contracts

Action to Protect the Government’s Interest. a. The Consortium Member agrees to execute or to have executed and promptly deliver to the Agreements Officer all instruments necessary to (i) establish or confirm the rights the Government has throughout the world in those Subject Inventions to which the Consortium Member elects to retain title, and (ii) convey title to the Government when requested under paragraph (3) of this clause and to enable the Government to obtain patent protection throughout the world in that Subject Invention.
