Common use of Active-Pay Status Clause in Contracts

Active-Pay Status. ACTIVE PAY STATUS. The terms “active pay status” shall mean time actually worked and paid, compensatory time, paid vacations and holidays, leave with pay, and approved sick leave. The use of sick leave shall not be considered to be active pay status for the purpose of determining overtime.
