ADDITIONAL DAILY. TEACHING ASSIGNMENTS. Classroom teachers who, with the approval of the Superintendent, are assigned to a daily additional hour of classroom teaching duties beyond the regular full teaching assignment for one (1) month or more, shall be paid the appropriate proportion of the annual rates listed in this section. This provision shall not exempt classroom teachers from preparation time required by the Minnesota State Board of Education or provided by the Board. Excluded from this provision are teachers in adult education programs or programs carried on outside the teacher’s day as defined in this Agreement.
