Additional Preparations Sample Clauses

The "Additional Preparations" clause outlines the parties' responsibilities to undertake specific tasks or arrangements beyond the standard requirements of the agreement. This may include actions such as securing permits, arranging for special equipment, or coordinating with third parties to ensure the smooth execution of the contract. By clearly defining these extra obligations, the clause helps prevent misunderstandings and ensures that all necessary steps are taken to fulfill the contract's objectives.
Additional Preparations. No secondary teacher shall have more than four preparations a day in the secondary academic subjects, subject to such additional preparations for which the teacher may volunteer. Each modified, accelerated, and enriched class requiring different preparation shall be considered a single preparation.
Additional Preparations. If an employee has more than three (3) preparations in an academic area, that employee shall be granted either one (1) additional preparation period per day per semester or be paid three hundred dollars ($300) per semester for each additional preparation as determined by the Employer. The academic areas shall be limited to English, world language, mathematics, science, and social studies.
Additional Preparations. Teachers who teach DLP classes shall receive no more than 1.5 hours of non-instructional duty time per week, unless scheduling constraints cause the need for the majority of teachers to be assigned the maximum allowable duties (Article IX - Section B. l. b. of the Bargaining Agreement). In that case, the President of the ▇▇▇▇▇▇-Almond Teachers' Association and the Superintendent of Schools will negotiate an equitable solution increasing the 1.5 extra duty hours for teachers of DLP classes.
