Common use of Additional Rent Payments Clause in Contracts

Additional Rent Payments. All sums of money due and payable by Tenant to Landlord under the terms of this Lease in addition to the Base Rent shall constitute additional rent (“Additional Rent”) hereunder for the purposes of the collection thereof. Landlord shall have the same remedies for default in the payment of Additional Rent as are available to Landlord in the case of a default in the payment of Base Rent. Base Rent and/or Additional Rent are sometimes referred to as “rent.” All rent shall be paid in the manner set forth in Section 2.4 above. Tenant agrees to pay all rent xxxxx this Lease at the times and in the manner herein provided, without set-off, counterclaim, abatement or deduction whatsoever, except as may be expressly provided in this Lease.
