Common use of Additional Tests and Inspections Clause in Contracts

Additional Tests and Inspections. 7.11.1 If the A/E determines that any portion of the Work requires inspection, testing, or approval not otherwise required under the Contract Documents, the A/E shall order the inspection, testing, or approval. 7.11.2 Within 5 days after completion of an inspection, test, or approval, the A/E shall provide an original report of the inspection, test, or approval to the Contractor and the Contracting Authority with a recommendation for or against acceptance of the results therein. 7.11.3 The Owner shall reimburse the A/E for the special inspection, test, or approval as a change in the Services. 7.11.4 The A/E shall not be reimbursed or otherwise compensated for any special inspection, testing, or approval made necessary by the act or omission of the A/E or any Consultant of the A/E.
