Section A - Recognition. 1. The District recognizes the Association as the sole and exclusive representative for all employees included in the bargaining unit as delineated in part "2" hereof.
2. All regular full-time and part-time (one half or more) certificated teachers. Employees not subject to the terms and conditions of this agreement include substitute and per diem teachers and all teacher/supervisors.

Section A - Recognition. The Board recognizes the WEA as the sole and exclusive bargaining representative for all certificated personnel employed by the Board under contract with the exception of the chief administrative officer and Principals of the District. The Board will not negotiate with any "employee organization" or individual certificated employee except the WEA. When used hereinafter, the term "certificated employee" shall refer to each employee represented by the WEA. "Certificated employee" means any employee holding a regular teaching certificate or ESA certificate of the State who is under contract by the School District with the exception of the chief administrative officer and Principals of the School District. Such representation shall cover all those certificated employees who have substituted for the District twenty (20) consecutive days or more in the same assignment or a thirty (30) day total within the immediately preceding twelve (12) month period. Unless the context in which they are used clearly requires otherwise, words used in the Agreement denoting gender shall include both masculine and feminine; and words denoting number shall include both the singular and plural.
