Adoption or Paternity Leave. In cases of adoption or paternity, the provisions of Section A(2) above shall apply in accordance with the Family and Medical Leave Act. (See Appendix C)
Adoption or Paternity Leave. Every employee who intends to take a leave of absence from employment without pay under Article (A) shall: inform the Employer in writing of the length of leave intended to be taken; and provide at least four (4) weeks notice to the Employer before the desired date of the commencement of the leave, unless there is a valid reason why that notice cannot be given; and An employee who has been granted Maternity, Parental, or Adoption Leave Without Pay shall be paid an allowance in accordance with the terms of the Supplementary Unemployment Benefit (“SUB”) Plan described in Articles and provided that the employee: has completed six (6) consecutive months of continuous employment with the Employer before the commencement of such leave; provides the Employer with proof that they are eligible to receive or benefits; and has signed an agreement with the Employer stating that:
