Common use of Adoptive Parent Leave Clause in Contracts

Adoptive Parent Leave. ‌ 34:01 An employee shall be granted one (1) scheduled shift leave with pay to attend to the needs directly related to the adoption of the child. At the employee’s option, such leave shall be granted on the day of, or the day following the adoption. The employee may be required to furnish proof of adoption. 34:02 The Adoptive Parent Leave referred to in 34:01 shall be calculated by multiplying eight (8) hours times to pro-rating factor.
