Advance Approval Required. Bargaining unit employees will obtain supervisory approval before using leave. Approving supervisors will obtain the following information from their employee and enter it on the Leave Request Form.
1. Name of the deceased
2. Relationship to the bargaining unit employee
3. Date and location of the services
Advance Approval Required. No compensatory time will be credited unless the overtime hours worked are authorized in advance by the appropriate supervisor. Employees shall not be eligible for compensatory time credit for any hours for which they were otherwise compensated.
Advance Approval Required. The Contractor must, in accordance with the procedures set forth in this Section, submit for the approval of the Architect all shop and setting drawings, samples, and other submittals (each a “Shop Drawing”) required pursuant to the Contract Documents or that are requested by the Architect. If the Contractor completes any portion of the Work included in or affected by the subject matter of any Shop Drawing prior to receipt of the Architect’s approval of such Shop Drawing, all such Work shall be at Contractor’s own risk.
Advance Approval Required. During the Term of this Agreement, Employee may generate outside income only upon receipt of prior written consent of the Director of Athletics or the Director of Athletics’ designee in each instance over five hundred dollars ($500.00). The Director of Athletics may withhold consent in the Director of Athletics’ sole and absolute discretion, including without limitation a determination by the Director of Athletics that such proposed opportunity would not satisfy the requirements of Section 4.04.A, would conflict with existing or contemplated third-party relationships of the University, or would not favorably reflect on the University. Prior to entering into any agreement or arrangement, the Employee shall provide the Director of Athletics a copy of all applicable agreements or documents as may be requested. The Director of Athletics may also condition this consent on any such third party executing a license agreement regarding the use of the University’s intellectual property. Any efforts by the Employee, without the advance written authorization of the Director of Athletics, to pursue, negotiate or execute any outside coaching and/or athletic program-related agreements over five hundred dollars ($500.00) (including, but not limited to, commercial endorsements) or arrangements as outlined above shall be deemed a breach of this Agreement by the Employee. All agreements or arrangements for outside income of any amount must comply with the requirements, if any, of the NCAA and/or the Big Ten. Any payments received by Employee from a third party for services rendered by Employee to such third party shall not be considered part of Employee’s base salary or other compensation under this Agreement. The receipt of outside income and benefits shall be consistent with the University’s conflict of interest and conflict of commitment policies.
