Advancing Vacation Time. Under unusual circumstances, advanced vacation time may be authorized. Requests for advanced vacation time will require the Fire Chief’s or designee’s approval and full justification. Each request for advanced vacation will be handled as a separate individual case and considered on its own merits. The City Manager will be the final approving authority on such requests.
