Common use of Affiliated Labour Bodies Clause in Contracts

Affiliated Labour Bodies. The Employer will, with at least ten (10) working days’ notice from the Union, grant leave to Union representatives for the purpose of participation with affiliate labour bodies such as Labour District Councils, CUPE Ontario, CUPE National, the Ontario Federation of Labour, and the Canadian Labour Congress. The Employer shall not be required to grant more than fifty (50) days in total for all employees in any calendar year.
