Common use of Agency Crewmembers Clause in Contracts

Agency Crewmembers. AGENCY may request CAP aircraft and aircrew as an aerial platform from which AGENCY officials may perform “aerial work,” as "crew members." "Aerial work" includes missions such as aerial reconnaissance of ground conditions (discussed in paragraph 5f above) or operation of an airborne repeater. AGENCY officials may be authorized to fly aboard CAP aircraft in accordance with CAPR 70-1. AGENCY officials performing aerial work or duty in the aircraft during flight are crewmembers and not “passengers.”
