Common use of Agency’s Right to Terminate Contract Clause in Contracts

Agency’s Right to Terminate Contract. Without prejudice to the terms of Articles 5 and 6 of this Contract, the Agency may terminate the Contract if the Contractor should be adjudged a bankrupt, or if he becomes insolvent, or if he persistently disregards the instructions of the Director of Works, or if he has committed any other breach of this Contract. In such event the Agency may appropriate the Security Deposit and/or withhold any sums due to the Contractor without prejudice to any other rights which it may have in law or equity.
