Agents enrolling Employers in Covered California for Small Business do not need to be appointed by each individual health plan that participates in Covered California for Small Business. As long as the Agent is licensed by the California Department of Insurance and certified by Covered California, the Agent may enroll Employers in Covered California for Small Business.
