AGREEMENT PURPOSE. 1.1.1 This Agreement is between the State of Iowa, Department of Human Services, (the “Agency”) and the Accountable Care Organization (“ACO”). The operations management responsibility for the Iowa Medicaid Program is through the Iowa Medicaid Enterprise (the “IME”), a business unit of the Agency. 1.1.2 This Agreement outlines the duties and responsibilities of the parties and shall continue in force until amended by the Agency pursuant to section 1.4.9.3 or terminated by either party pursuant to section 1.4.
