PURPOSE OF AGREEMENT. 1.01 The purpose of this Agreement is to maintain harmonious and mutually beneficial relationships between the Employer, the employees and the Union, to set forth certain terms and conditions of employment relating to pay, hours of work, employee benefits, and general working conditions affecting employees covered by this Agreement and to ensure that all reasonable measures are provided for the safety and occupational health of the employees.

PURPOSE OF AGREEMENT. 1:01 The general purpose of this Agreement is to secure the benefits of collective bargaining, a method of settling any difference between the parties arising from the interpretation, application, administration or alleged violation of this Agreement, and to set forth the terms and conditions of employment applicable to employees in the bargaining unit and matters to be observed by the University and the Union.
PURPOSE OF AGREEMENT. To fulfill the purposes provided in Indiana Code § 5-28-1-1 and Indiana Code § 6–3.1–13, and in accordance with the terms and conditions contained herein, the IEDC has awarded a tax credit under the Economic Development for a Growing Economy Tax Credit program. The Agreement specifies the terms of this credit for the Company, against its Indiana state tax liability, as defined by Indiana Code § 6-3.1-13-9 (“State Tax Liability”), for each Taxable Year (as defined in Paragraph 4 below). Capitalized terms used herein and not otherwise defined shall have the meaning given to them in Exhibit A, which is attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference.
