The minimum standard for Hornets is that of a weekly competition running no less than 7 weeks based on 1 round per week. An affiliate may seek dispensation from Hornets for an individual from the 5 game qualifications for a player who has represented their affiliate uninterrupted for a period of 7 years or greater. The individual must meet all other criteria and regulations. Any such request must be in writing to the Technical Director. If a player wishes to participate in a Hornets tournament and the affiliate in which they are registered has not nominated a team in the category they prefer to play in, they must make a written application to Hornets to be granted permission to participate. Establish an appropriate programme preventing the practice of stacking of teams to ensure that a steady flow of players is available for all affiliates.
