Common use of Air or Water Pollution Requirements Clause in Contracts

Air or Water Pollution Requirements. Any federally funded agreement and/or subcontract in excess of $100,000 must comply with the following provisions unless said agreement is exempt by law. a. Government contractors agree to comply with all applicable standards, orders, or requirements issued under section 306 of the Clean Air Act (42 USC 7606) section 508 of the Clean Water Act (33 U.S.C. 1368), Executive Order 11738, and Environmental Protection Agency regulations. b. Institutions of higher education, hospitals, nonprofit organizations and commercial businesses agree to comply with all applicable standards, orders, or requirements issued under the Clean Air Act (42 U.S.C. 7401 et seq.), as amended, and the Clean Water Act (33 U.S.C. 1251 et seq.), as amended.
