Common use of Aircraft/Aviation Liability Insurance Clause in Contracts

Aircraft/Aviation Liability Insurance. (If Applicable): NA Each Occurrence Limit and in the Aggregate (including passenger liability): The operator of an aircraft of any kind, whether manned or unmanned, must maintain liability insurance covering bodily injury and property damage on a Combined Single Limit basis. If non-employee passengers are carried, there cannot be a per-passenger sublimit. Prior to commencing operations, the operator must provide the Owner with a certificate of insurance naming the Owner, their officers, directors and employees as additional insureds on a primary and non-contributory basis. Operator and their insurer(s) must hold the Owner harmless and waive subrogation with respect to damage to the aircraft If aircraft is to be used to perform lifts at the Designated Project Site, a “slung cargo” endorsement must be included to cover the full replacement value of any equipment being lifted.
