Contractor's Liability Insurance. The contractor shall purchase and maintain statutory limits of Worker's Compensation, Public Liability and Automobile Liability as approved by the Regents at the time of signing of the contract. Contractor's Liability Insurance. Contractor shall purchase and maintain such insurance as will protect Contractor from claims set forth below which may arise out of or result from the Contractor’s operations under the Contract, whether such operations be by Contractor or by any subcontractor or by anyone directly or indirectly employed by Contractor, or by anyone for whose acts any other may be liable: 1. Claims under Worker’s Compensation, disability benefits, and other similar employee benefit acts; 2. Claims for damage because of bodily injury, occupational sickness or disease, or death of his employees, and claims insured by usual personal injury liability coverage; 3. Claims for damages because of bodily injury, sickness or disease, or death of any person other than his employees; 4. Claims for damages insured by usual personal injury liability coverage which are sustained (1) by any person as a result of an offense directly or indirectly related to the employment of such person by the Contractor, or (2) by any other person; 5. Claims for damages, other than to the Work itself, because of injury to or destruction of tangible property, including loss of use resulting therefrom; and 6. Claims for damages because of bodily injury or death of any person or property damage arising out of the ownership, maintenance, or use of any motor vehicle. Insurance covering claims for damages to persons or property required above shall be in the amounts stipulated by Hastings: Bodily Injury Liability Each Person: $2,000,000.00 Each Accident or Occurrence: $2,000,000.00 Property Damage Liability Each Accident or Occurrence: Aggregate: $2,000,000.00 $2,000,000.00 and shall be furnished in the types specified, as follows:
Contractor's Liability Insurance. The CM will purchase and maintain such insurance as will protect him from claims under Worker's Compensation laws, disability benefit laws or other similar employee benefit laws; from claims for damages because of bodily injury, occupational sickness or disease, or death of his employees including claims insured by usual personal injury, sickness and disease, or death of any person other than his employees including claims insured by usual personal injury liability coverage; and from claims for injury to or destruction of tangible property including loss of use resulting therefrom any or all of which may arise out of or result from the CM's operations under the Contract Documents, whether such operations be by himself or any subcontractor or anyone directly or indirectly employed by any of them or for whose acts any of them may be legally liable. This insurance shall be written for no less than the limits of liability specified in the Contract Documents or required by law, whichever is greater, and shall include contractual liability insurance. As a prerequisite to the Owner signing the Contract, the CM will file with the Owner certificates of such insurance, acceptable to the Owner; these certificates shall contain a provision for cancellation.

The liability insurance shall be written on an occurrence basis and shall, where applicable, be for limits not less than $1,000,000 combined single limit bodily injury and property damage for each occurrence, $1,000,000 aggregate, and shall include contractual liability insurance as applicable to Contractor's obligations hereunder. Coverage shall include Commercial General Liability insurance including premises-operations (including explosion, collapse and underground coverage as applicable), elevators (if applicable), independent contractors, products and completed operations, and blanket liability on all written contracts, all including broad form property damage coverage and personal injury liability, with employment exclusion deleted and for not less than any limits of liability required by law. Certificates of insurance acceptable to Owner shall be filed with the Project Manager prior to commencement of the work. These certificates shall contain a provision that coverage afforded under the policies will not be canceled or modified...
Contractor's Liability Insurance. Contractor shall purchase and maintain such liability and other insurance that meets the insurance requirement set forth in the contract documents for the Work being performed and as will provide protection from claims set forth below which may arise out of or result from Contractor's performance of the Work and Contractor's other obligations under the Contract Documents, whether it is to be performed by Contractor, any Subcontractor or Supplier, or by anyone directly or indirectly employed by any of them to perform any of the Work, or by anyone for whose acts any of them may be liable: 4.4.1 Claims under workers' compensation, disability benefits, and other similar employee benefit acts; 4.4.2 Claims for damages because of bodily injury, occupational sickness or disease, or death of Contractor's employees; 4.4.3 Claims for damages because of bodily injury, sickness or disease, or death of any person other than Contractor's employees; 4.4.4 Claims for damages insured by reasonably available personal injury liability coverage which are sustained: (i) by any person as a result of an offense directly or indirectly related to the employment of such person by Contractor, or (ii) by any other person for any other reason. 4.4.5 Claims for damages, other than to the Work itself, because of injury to or destruction of tangible property wherever located, including loss of use resulting therefrom; and, 4.4.6 Claims for damages because of bodily injury or death of any person or property damage arising out of Ownership, maintenance or use of any motor vehicle.
Contractor's Liability Insurance. The Contractor agrees to keep in force at its own expense during the entire period of construction on the project such liability insurance as will protect it from claims, under workers' compensation and other employee benefit laws, for bodily injury and death, and for property damage, that may arise out of work under this contract, whether directly or indirectly by the contractor, or directly or indirectly by a subcontractor. The minimum liability limits of such insurance shall not be less than the limits specified in the contract documents or by law for that type of damage claim. Such insurance shall include contractual liability insurance applicable to the Contractor's obligations under this contract. Proof of such insurance shall be filed by the Contractor with the Town within a reasonable time after execution of this contract.

Contractor shall maintain such insurance as will protect Contractor from claims set forth below which may arise out of or result from Contractor's operations under the Contract and for which Contractor may be legally liable, whether such operations be by Contractor or a Subcontractor, or by anyone directly or indirectly employed by any of them, or by anyone for whose acts any of them may be liable: .1 claims under workers' compensation, disability benefit and other similar employee benefit acts which are applicable to the Work to be performed; .2 claims for damages because of bodily injury, occupational sickness or disease, or death of Contractor's employees; .3 claims for damages because of bodily injury, sickness, disease or death of any person other than employees of Contractor or a Subcontractor or by anyone directly or indirectly employed by any of them in connection with the Work; .4 claims for damages, other than to the Work itself, because of injury to or destruction of tangible property, including loss of use resulting therefrom; and .5 claims for damages because of bodily injury, death of a person or property damage arising out of ownership, maintenance or use of a motor vehicle. Such insurance need not cover acts of terrorism, mold or microorganisms or completed operations to the extent that such coverage is not available on commercially reasonable terms. 11.1.2. The insurance required by Subparagraph 11.1.1 shall be written for not less than limits of liability specified in the Contract Documents or required by law, whichever coverage is greater. Coverages shall be written on an occurrence basis. All coverages shall be maintained without interruption from date of commencement of the Work until date of final payment and any additional period specified by any Contract Document for coverage required to be maintained after final payment. 11.1.3. Certificates of insurance shall be filed with Owner prior to commencement of the Work. These certificates and the insurance policies required by this Paragraph 11.1 shall contain a provision that coverages afforded under the policies will not be canceled or materially modified until at least 20 days' prior written notice has been given to Owner. Information concerning reduction of coverage on account of revised limits shall be furnished by Contractor with reasonable promptness in accordance with Contractor's information and belief.
